How did you get interested in New Thought/Religious Science?
I found Religious Science by “accident”. I had found that yoga and meditation were beneficial for managing stress and my peace of mind and I was looking to deepen my meditation practice. I was not interested in any organized religion. In 2008, I innocently signed up for a meditation class at The Mincks Education Center and was horrified to find out it was at a church. I took the class anyway and discovered Science of Mind. I was surprised that I had never heard of it.
Who are some of your most significant teachers/mentors?
I was influenced by Wayne Dyer and inspired by Paramahansa Yoganada. But since studying New Thought, I am deeply grateful to Drs. Michele and Bobby. The practitioners on faculty helped me tremendously as I walked this journey. Currently, I am inspired by the work of Dr. Joe Dispenza.
Do you have an area (such as health, prosperity, pets, etc.) that you are drawn to?
It may sound like a cliché, but I have found that when we go deep enough and unleash the Love energy within, we solve all problems without effort. I have been particularly successful with restoring self-confidence and worthiness along with improving health and prosperity.
Do you prefer to work face-to-face, over the phone, or other ways?
I do prefer to work face-to-face and I find that over the phone can be very powerful as the ears often pick up more when the eyes are closed! A lot can be learned from the verbal cues. I really like sessions when we can go for a hike or a walk.
