How did you first get interested in New Thought/Religious Science?
I met my neighbor and fellow animal lover, Robyn, after finding her lost pet tortoise. She is the daughter of Rev Merilyn Chilleen, the Spiritual leader at the Yuma Center for Spiritual Living. We soon found animals were not our only connection. She introduced me to New Vision Center for Spiritual Living and I fell in love with the center and the teachings.
Who are some of your most significant teachers/mentors?
I find the teacher is always there with the message I am ready to hear at just the perfect time. Rev Kathryn McDowell has been a huge teacher and mentor to me over the years but there are so many others.
Do you have an area (such as health, prosperity, pets, etc.) that you are drawn to?
I love working in all areas but my passion is animals so I am drawn to them and/or they are drawn to me. I love doing the pet blessings at adoption events. I have done many sessions with pets and their parents.
Do you prefer to work face-to-face, over the phone, or other ways?
I am comfortable with both but I do feel a deeper connection when I am face-to-face.
How long have you been a Practitioner?
Are you a native of Arizona?
I was born in Oklahoma and lived there until I was 18. I lived in Ohio and Tennessee before moving to Arizona in 2000. I call Arizona home and cannot imagine living anywhere else.
Did you start in another religion?
I was raised Baptist and attended the Lutheran church for a number of years with my ex-husband.
What is your greatest joy about being a Practitioner?
The Love and Joy that is present in private sessions. I love being apart of the experience when a client sees their Truth and knows that they are truly perfect just the way they are.
