Last month, we got off the fence with our beliefs in Oneness, our own Innocence and Brilliance and Abundance. Now that we are deeply grounded in these Principles, this month we will ignite the SPARK of the Divine Flame within us as we create a Supportive structure to Participate fully in the Awesome nature of God, realizing that our life is a Reflection of who we are and the power that comes when we Kick it into gear! We will explore these ideas on a personal level as well as at the level of spiritual community. It will be exciting. It will be fun. It will be informative and transformative, so be sure to be here each week to gain the full gift of this month!

A building cannot stand tall and firm without a solid structure of support at its core. This is also the case in our lives. If we want to ignite the SPARK of the Divine Flame within us, we must have an internal and external structure of support. This is true of us as individuals and true of us as a spiritual community. Today we will look at this idea personally and collectively as CLF. It will be a VERY exciting morning!

Ernest Holmes wrote in the Science of Mind (p. 88) that we must be careful not to reduce God to merely an “abstract Principle and mathematical Law of Cause and Effect” because if we do we shall “lose all warmth and color.” He said, “We should be very careful . . . not to forget the Essence.” And the Essence of God is Awesome! Awesome Love. Awesome Power. Awesome Everything. And the SPARK of the Divine within us is Awesome as well! Today, we are awed at how Awesome God as us is!

If we have been around Religious Science for longer than 30 seconds, we are aware of the concepts: as within, so without; as we think and believe, so shall we receive; who we are is how the world is to us; etc.; etc. But despite knowing these things in our heads, we still often carry around beliefs in our hearts the douse the SPARK of our Divine Flame. Today, through a specific and powerful experience, we create an inner world that reflects back to us an outer world of radiance and love.

We are extremely blessed to have singer, songwriter and speaker Karen Drucker with us today for the first time in CLF history! She writes this about her talk: “In my life, I often heard the message that I was ‘too much,’ and I dimmed down my light in order to fit in and be accepted. When I realized that my life was about shining my light and being all that I could be, miracles occurred. Learning about how our inner critic works and what lights us up or dims us down is what we will explore together today.”
